There are various elements that we can enjoy in nature in Ayamonte, the mouth of the Guadiana River to start with which is also on the border with portugal and Spain, it´s canals in Islan Canela which are of important nature, and in third place the marshlands that surround Ayamonte in Huelva.
Ayamonte is one of those places that has know how to grow and develop without ruining the beauty of it´s natural parks and environment. The rise of the Guadiana River is a long crossing, especially if you do it on one of the old boats they used that joined Ayamonte with Vila Real de Santo Antonio.
To go up the river is to enjoy the marshlands of Isla Canela, Huela, in southern Spain, it´s birdwatching and enjoying the fauna and flora, the beaches, it´s coast, and it´s fisherman warf in Punta del Moral.
